We were not born vignerons but we were passionate about wine. It was family ties that drew us into the fold and little by little an attachment developed.
When the taste, quality and precision in the expression of your terroirs becomes your only goal you realise that passion has taken over. Your job becomes everything, the only thing that counts. Passion came quickly for me and very early on I imagined ‘my’ style of wine. Wines with purity and precision. I didn’t have a guru and therefore trod my own path.
I work alongside my team on my terroirs of Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, Brézé and Montsoreau in order to encourage and inspire them.
Each parcel or clos has its own identity and I try to reveal this in each of my wines.
